Partnerships Essential for Water Security: Global Water Partnership Report

The report on water security in Africa, published by the Global Water Partnership, outlines the lessons of a five-year programme to develop Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) plans in 13 African countries. It contains recommendations for policymakers as well as development lessons that can be applied outside the water sector. One of the main messages is the need for multi-stakeholder partnerships in sustainable development.
